KUALA LUMPUR — After a full year of lockdowns and restrictions, elfo embraced 2021 with the hope of returning to world of physical events. Unfortunately, the Movement Control Order (MCO) in Malaysia is still carefully being executed limiting many physical exhibitions. Despite the setbacks, elfo continued attending virtual exhibitions and conferences that allowed the team to join important conversations in the continuously evolving industry of marketing technology. As elfo embarks into the new year, let’s take a look at some of the events in 2021 that have allowed elfo to continue participating in variety conversations that revolve around the innovative and ever-changing world of digital marketing.

Once again, elfo returned to MWC Barcelona 2021 virtually from June 28 to July 1st joining the rest of the world in shaping the future of the mobile messaging industry. Since 2019, elfo has consistently joined MWC Barcelona as it is a platform to proliferate new ideas, showcase our offerings, and expand our network. This year, elfo’s presence included a virtual online profile that allowed the team to still connect with prospective clients and catch-up with global partners.

In the affiliate marketing world, the elfoMobi team jumped online to virtually attend the TES Affiliate Conferences 2021. A key event in the affiliate marketing world, having the opportunity to join provided the elfoMobi team with connections and resources that looked at programmatic buying, traffic, and optimization from various partners in the industry.

Along with over 120 companies, elfo attended CC-SMS Messaging Summit 2021 virtually in September. As part of the Carrier Community (CC) global roadshow, the event was insightful in highlighting the latest trends of the mobile messaging industry. With the virtual format, the elfo team were able to connect with key industry players to exchange ideas and and views on Wholesale SMS in the next 5 years. Additionally, 67% of managers attended the event, which created a platform where we were able to work with potential aggregators. 

Within the same month, elfo managed to also attend Europe’s leading digital marketing and tech event, DMEXCO 2021. With the program DMEXCO@Home, our team was able to participate in the completely virtual event. With over 600 speakers and 240 exhbitors, the elfo team benefited from multiple networking opportunities and informative keynote sessions. 

With 2022, elfo is excited to jump back into the world of physical events. With MWC Barcelona 2022 around the corner, expect to see elfo back on the world stage as we all return to normal. There are lots of exciting opportunities and events in store and be sure to look out for elfo when you’re back on the road in 2022.
